Firewall of WGR614l

I want to know about the firewall of WGR614l. Is it a part of software or hardware? because I heard that it will be very fast if firewall functionality is handled by hardware.

I am going to buy Netgear Wireless router. So I want to know about its firewall. Undecided Is port triggering supported? I need it for gaming. I also need the DOS feature. Is it there?
