USB Drive Connection

Short story.. in-laws have 3500L and went to a larger USB drive, the stock firmware doesn't see it so I decided to upgrade to DD-WRT.

I flashed : DDWRT Kong Mod USB/FTP/SAMBA3/...  Build 22000+

When I connect the drive, it says:  ... mounted to /tmp/mnt/disk0-part1

Problems with latest Shibby Tomato

IPv6 crashes the router when I try to enable it.  I have to 30/30/30 reset and restore my configuration.

I am on Time Warner Cable if that matters.

How can I fix it?  I've had this problem with every Shibby Tomato build I've tried

Netgear WNR3500L v2

Tomato Firmware 1.28.0000 MIPSR2-123 K26 USB AIO

Most Desired features in WNR3500Lv2

Hi all users of WNR3500Lv2,

Hope you have played with various firmwares for WNR3500Lv2 available in this site (Link).

What are your thoughts on the feature list of these firmwares?
What are the features you think important to you but still missing in these firmwares?

Some newbie trouble.

I just got a new Netgear WNR3500Lv2 and flashed it with Shibby's version of Tomato.

The flash itself was very easy and the router started up with plenty of more functions than the standard firmware which I am excited to try.

However, there are a couple of thigns that does not work and I don't know why.

1. Unlike the standard firmware, the router does not work "out of the box" when connected via the WAN port to my ADSL modem. I tried most of the options I could find on this site but no go.

Please analyse log - i think my router has been highjacked

I have 3500l v2 with tomato shibby. Llast day i saw that my internet is unstable. I checked logline, and saw this: could someone kindly analyze it?

Wnr3500Lv2 Tomato Shibby - my script has different behavior in scheduler

I'm beginner with shell scripting, so maybe I'm missing something very basic...

My script does work perfectly  in "tools>system commands",  but the "find" command fails in "administration >scheduler"...

Is there any reason why the behavior is different? Environment?  Why the" find" only, and not the rest?

The code is directly pasted in the scheduler page...

Here is the full script

if [ -e $runningfile ]  ; then

     echo already running

      # echo already running > $logfile

Error Erasing MTD Block during firmware update. 3500lv2

I bought a router second hand that was running shibby's version of Tomato.  I wanted to wipe the router and update to the AIO firmware.  When I attempted to update the firmware it began fine, but then it suddenly stated "error erasing MTD block" and attempted to rebbot.  When it attempted to reboot it wouldn't completely boot up.  I have tried to reset it using a hard reset and a 30-30-30 but still just the power lite blinking green.  Any help would be great!

WNR3500Lv2 bricked!

After running happily tomato-Netgear-3500Lv2-K26USB-1.28.RT-N5x--120-AIO.chk,

I tried to install tomato-K26USB-1.28.RT-MIPSR2-120-AIO.trx (please do not ask why)

and bricked my WNR3500Lv2... steady amber light after a brief flash of blue (wireless LED) after power-on.

Ping shows 1-3 successful replies during boot (presumably during brief flash of blue), pings before and after are lost.

Any idea what went wrong?

Thanks,

Stephen (waiting for delivery of USB-serial cable)
