Hi all,
I recently flashed my router with dd-wrt.v24-13577_NEWD_mini_usb_ftp.bin (eko?)
Altough the flash was reported as a "success" my router is not responding anymore.
i tried the 30/30/30 reset but this did not help, the device is not responding to 192.168.1.1 during reboot..(yes my ip and subnet are ok)
tried wireshark in promiscuous mode in hope to get anything but the device is dead quiet...
The power led stays orange. but since i never looked at the front of the thing I dont know if this is normal...
maybe the firmware is the problem?
do I need to buy a USB-TTL cable or can someone help me pls?
UPDATE:
When i enter the mac with arp -s the router replies for 2 seconds when booting. still I can't get it to accept tftp write (port 69)

Thanks for your reply. I uploaded the .bin via the dd-wrt web interface. I got the "success" screen and the router rebooted.

I was using dd-wrt.v24-13309_NEWD-2_K2.6_big.bin
I could not get jffs to free up more than 640kB so I thought flashing the "mini" would solve it... thought wrong..
Is my warranty void if I upload dd-wrt?
Do you know if all WNR3500L have the pins to connect the TTL cable?

I checked inside but there are no pin headers...
Anyone know if I will be able to get into the console with the usb-ttl even if the power led stays solid amber?
