Are there any Router Computers that Run Linus / windows

Hi

I am new to this forum, Hi everyone..

This is a very interesting project for me as I am wanting to combine a very small computer into a device that is a Router / Moden / Computer.

I want to do this so I can leve a computer running at home that uses low Watts and can still maintain an interent connection. This is mostly for Torrents but is also for other larger files.

If you know of such a device or how the code on myopenrouter could help me I will be very greatful anyway I have certainly stumbled into a very interesting Forum..

Thanks all..

It sounds like a job for the Netgear WNR3500L with an external USB drive. (Linux).

I'm not sure about which firmwares that comes with torrent software (I guess OpenWRT) but with DD-WRT and Tomato you can also use optware which have a large directory of easy to install software packages (including torrent software) you may use.

You should be aware that optware does require some Linux/Unix knowledge for setting up startscripts and such.

I strongly doubt that you can find a Windows device for this.

I think you may find some ADSL routers with open software but I never heard of one with buildin IDSL modem.
