Dlink Dir825 fails to reflash fw though backup loader

Hi,

Yesterday, I was very stupid and installed kong's ddwrt mod through the firmware upgrade page (Yes i have ddwrt installed), then my router died (orange power light kept flashing). Good thing dlink has the backup loader thing though the 45 sec reset. I set a static ip address, went to the backup loader page, and uploaded ddwrt firmware. I started to flash and stopped at 100%. I ate my lunch and came back but it's still at 100. The power light is blue now but the wireless lights are not on(hmmm...). I tried to connect to the router but couldn't. No ping response neither.

Is it because of the bootloader??

How can I fix this problem??

Thx in advance

Why don't you try flashing

Why don't you try flashing the stock firmware first, not the dd-wrt? Kong's mod is only for select Broadcom devices.

The dd-wrt kong mod is only

The dd-wrt kong mod is only for routers with broadcom 47xx SoC. The D-Link has an Atheros SoC, therefore you need to use a regular dd-wrt for Atheros.
To unbrick your unit you should hold the reset button until the power led flashes.
After that upload a working fw again.

I already did.

I already did.

I used internet explorer, when the process is at 100%, I checked the router lights. The power light is blue but the wireless lights are not on. I tried to ping the router at 192.168.0.1 (I installed the dlink fw) but it didnt respond.
I already set my ip to 0.2 static.
I then used chrome. It just got stuck on the upload page not even the progress bar.

Kong,
Is it possible that the backup loader is malfunctioning??
Dose your mod touch the boot loader or something like that??
