Disable the routers DHCP and retain Wi-Fi?

Hello folks!

Just one fast quick question, I'm going to use pfSenses built-in DHCP to hand out leases to my clients, and I'm going to put the LAN side in one of the routers LAN ports.

Therefore I'm asking this, I need to disable the built-in DHCP server on the router but will I be able to hand out IP's to my Wi-Fi clients?

When you give static IP

When you give static IP without DHCP via router, I think you must configure your computer to use a static IP too. If not, it will search for a DHCP server and won't find it....

Depending on which OS you are using procedure is different...
