I have discovered that the OEM firmware does not suppot more than one external USB HDD being connected to the WNR3500L router. Does the DD-WRT (Kong's?) firmware support more than one external USB HDD connected to the router via a HSB hub powered/unpowered?
I intend to switch over to DD-WRT over the Christmas beak while my office is closed, hopefully with bricking the router.
See this link http://www.myopenrouter.com/forum/thread/23388/Share-network-Drive-help-...
Kong said Yes someone reported that it works with a powered hub.
Good luck
Kong was referring to DD-WRT firmware. I am referring to the OEM (Netgear) firmware.
Really?

I have connected 2TB HDD and a flash drive to Kong firmware. I saw flash drive only. I have unpluged one of them, I saw the other one after reboot WNR3500L. In conclution, Kong firmware do not support more than one external USB HDD being connected to the WNR3500L router.
It does not support setup of two drives via gui. Using two drives the second drives has to be mounted using a command e.g. through Administration->Commands or by running a script or mounting by hand through ssh. IN addition to that the gui only displays the info for one disk.
