You'll find it in the download section. In the description you will see the date when it was updated. The build number is rather cosmetic from that you can tell what base dd-wrt features it includes.
I downloaded "dd-wrt-usb-ftp-samba3-dlna-O2-v24-K26-broadcom-3.bin" (Kong Version), and I tried to upgrade my WNR3500L from "DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/12/10) mega" version. I had power interrupted during updating. It seemed the upgrade process on most done. Now, I cannot access to my WNR3500L anymore.
I could not recover my WNR3500L using Netgear CD (came with the WNR3500L). I just saw this thread "How To Reflash Factory Firmware on the NETGEAR WRN3500L Without A Serial Cable" (http://www.myopenrouter.com/article/16099/How-To-Reflash-Factory-Firmwar...). Is this help?

What if instead of using folders as shares I use another disk partition?
