DD-WRT Kong Mod USB/FTP/SAMBA3/OpenVPN/Proxy build 16830

Hi, I flashed my Asus RT-N16 with this firmware and I need some help:
1. cannot connect from wan to Proftpd, why is not enabled by default? every time I have to send command with telnet: "/usr/sbin/iptables -I INPUT 1 -p tcp --dport 21 -j logaccept" and it's works but after a router reboot, don't work anymore. This tutorial http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/ProFTPd explains how to modify proftpd.conf but how to acces the file? (I don't know nothing about linux).

2. how to add users with limited rights, for example to access just one or two folders but to log on with password not anonymous?

3. the miniDLNA server works great but it is not possible to add forward-rewind function, thumbnail, at least "resume" function?
MiniDLNA is the reason for witch I have flashed the router. With original asus firmware, I see the videos in folders with my samsung LE32c550 but when I try to start a movie (avi, mpg, mkv), gives me an error: codec not suported. It is possible to add miniDLNA server or another to original asus firmware?
THX

So, if you watch a movie on

So, if you watch a movie on your tv with Hdd connected to your router, you press pause on the remote, turn off tv, after that turn on again, you may resume from the where you paused last time?
I can't do this with router's dlna, just if I run a dlna server from my pc and I don't know why they can't implement this in dd-wrt firmware.
