wnr3500l router not accepting dd-wrt firmware

following this guide

Step 1: Done

Step 2: Done

Step 3: Problem

I'm trying to upload this firmware :

http://www.myopenrouter.com/download/18819/DD-WRT-for-WNR3500L-v24-svn14...

 

and I'm keep on getting the error:

Please assign the correct file. The file formate is *.chk

 

whats the deal? the dd-wrt firmware is in chk format, yet its not taking it

I got it to work, it seems

I got it to work, it seems that it didnt like the file naming is all

the file name was

the file name was

dd-wrt.v24-14205_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-WNR3500L.chk

I just randomly name it simple one worded name and it work
