access restriction doesn't work with VPN client Tomato USB VPN client

I am using Netgear 3500L Tomato Firmware v1.28.9054 MIPSR2-beta K26 USB vpn3.6

When i use access restriction and also web usage logging, all is ok.

But, when i start also vpn client (am using an external vpn provider) , access restriction doesn't work anymore and web usage doesn't log anymore ?

If i stop vpn client, all is ok again about logging and acces restriction.

What does this mean ?? Is the VPN masking info to these services ?

I am using TUN on UDP, automatic firewall, create NAT on tunnel is cheked, Redirect Internet traffic also.

Where is the problem ? :(

An idea ?

Thanks for any help.

should the flow enters tunnel

should the flow enters tunnel after treatment analyzes and restrictions.

A normal software layer router, then a layer after VPN connection.

I do not know if this is possible.

okay guys I got it working

okay guys I got it working FINALLY. Here is what I had to do basically

Basically I had to use 2 routers for this to work. My first router: Has an ethernet cable from the WAN port to my modem. Then I run another cable from the LAN to the WAN of my second router.

So my first router is setup to get the main internet connection. I also have this router setup fully to connect with the VPN.

My second router now has an internet connection with vpn through my first router and now my access restrictions and web monitor is working.....

Not really expensive....  you

Not really expensive....  you can get another router an older router that works with custom firmware for cheap .....around 30 bucks....

I am so glad I got this working.......I have been looking on the internet for months.    Went to a few different forums and no one had any answers.    I figured this one out myself.    Now I just have to try and get ipv6 working through it and I am all set
