MLPPP

Does anyone know if it's possible to run Tomato's MLPPP software on the 3500L router? It not (from what I can see) explicitedly mentioned that it's supported anywhere but if the router is capable of running tomato would it not be capable of running the mlppp variety or was something special done to the firmware to allow it to run on this particular router?
