AFP Share, Monitor Internet Traffic & QoS

Hi!

I was not sure to switch to this DD-WRT firmware for my router. Not so bad so far. I have a few questions (probably for Kong). I'm new but I'm a power user. I just need to guided to start with this new versatile firmware.

I need 3 features and I hope it will be possible now or in a near future. :D

1. After I read so many thing, I'm so confuse. The AFP support how can I simply enable it? I switch to this firmware by hoping to see a stable support. I want to use my router to do Time Machine backup and I need AFP.

2. I really liked the Monitor Internet Traffic of Netgear. Very nice feature. Is it possible or this will be possible to add a support with a reset date and input my limit data transfer number. With a followup after a some pourcentage of usage, send an email, Pushover notification (best option), get notification I'm reaching my limit for the month. :)

3. Last thing, QoS. It is possible to do "Optimize Internet Gaming with Upstream QoS"? One big feature of this router. Some pre-configure configs.

Thank you in advance

1. AFP support has never been

1. AFP support has never been in dd-wrt, not many people asked for it so far.
2. Possible, but also not many have requested it.
3. While this is some good feature for people with limited knowledge, it just works not very well and will always have limits. The QOS included in dd-wrt allows to tune for specific needs, thus can be tailored exactly to you envirnoment, of course it will required some reading, but it allows so much more.

Thus. I think:

(1) good point more and more apple users are out, we should integrate it
(2) nice feature for some but I think most dd-wrt users don't need this as they are usually power users with connection that have no limits. And with a zabbix logging server it would be possible to this already.
(3) Not really neccessary. A simple qos setup on dd-wrt is very easy and just requires that the user knows his up/down speed.

Thank you for quick and

Thank you for quick and honest answers.

This is one of the main feature I need. But I think I will need to go back the stock firmware until you implement this feature. I bought this router for the unbelielable performance and my choice to add my external HD USB 3.0 HD to it to backup 3 Macs because it support AFP.

(2) nice feature for some but I think most dd-wrt users don't need this as they are usually power users with connection that have no limits. And with a zabbix logging server it would be possible to this already.

The Zabbit Logging Server can be install on the Nighthawk? Please elaborate on this solution. :)

(3) Not really neccessary. A simple qos setup on dd-wrt is very easy and just requires that the user knows his up/down speed.

I think I can deal with that myself.
