Can a web usage page be introduced on to the Netgear R7000?

Can a “web usage page” be introduced on to the Netgear R7000

I have tired the Tomato by Shibby firmware and love this feature.

It provides

  1. A log of the recent web searches
  2. A log of the recent websites visited
  3. It provides the web searched list and the domain name (not just the external IP)
  4. It provides the website visited (not just the external IP) and the internal IP that visited the site.
  5. The time and dates of the above.

Also can you integrate a basic torrent transition without having to install optware etc.

This feature is pure bullshit

This feature is pure bullshit and can never reliably do what it claims to do.

Once we are talking about encrypted connections e.g. https, vpn tunnels etc. this stuff does not work.

If the intention is to control or monitor web usage, then there is no way around blocking everything and just let traffic through a proxy on the router, which will also allow you to create statistics.

I'm not going to implement a feature if I know up front, that it only works in some corner cases.

My intention is for reporting

My intention is for reporting purposes/data collection/stats on daily usage in a large scale environment.
Thanks for the reply
