Current Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/23/14) kongac
I have a Seagate Backup Plus 3TB HD. I see the following in disk info:
--- /dev/sdb
Block device, size 2.729 TiB (3000592977920 bytes)
DOS/MBR partition map
Partition 1: 349.3 GiB (375072489472 bytes, 732563456 sectors from 2048)
Type 0x07 (NTFS/HPFS)
/dev/sdb not mounted Unsupported Filesystem
--- /dev/sdb1
Block device, size 2.729 TiB (3000579915776 bytes)
Windows NTLDR boot loader
NTFS file system
UUID 26BCAD5BBCAD2671
Volume size 2.729 TiB (3000579911680 bytes, 732563455 sectors of 4 KiB)
/dev/sdb1 mounted to /tmp/mnt/sdb1
Sometimes the first partition does not show up and only the mounted one is listed.
When I try to add this path to NAS -> File Sharing it is not listed in the dropdown.
I have a 1.5TB Samsung HD that has no issue being mounted and shared. Both drives mounted and shared correctly on the stock Netgear firmware.
Any ideas? Will I likely be forced to reformat my drive?
Although I didn't have any issue with the bunch of drives I tested. A handful users reported the same problem. For the next build I'm adding a little delay to give problematic drives a chance to be ready when mounting starts.
Watch out for a new build. I'll add it to my changelog.
Thanks for the reply. We are very lucky to have your continued development!
By the way, in latest build I added some delay and another user that was affected by the same issue confirmed that is is working now.
Perfect! Confirmed working on my Seagate Backup Plus 3TB.
