Hi Guys,
I am currently running the latest old driver build of DD-WRT. The connection to my ADSL modem seems to be dropping or the Router is rebooting occasionally. To rule out hardware issues I would like to return back to stock firmware.
What is the recommended procedure for reverting back to stock firmware?
Cheers
Andrew
Will the
"How To Reflash Factory Firmware on the NETGEAR WRN3500L Without A Serial Cable"

work on the R7000?
OK a bit more looking around. I'm assuming I can do this?
"Flashing back to Netgear Firmware is supported. Just use the dd-wrt webinterface and upload netgear firmware. Since netgear is now using the same password var
as dd-wrt you have to reset the router after you flashed back to netgear firmware, otherwise the netgear webif will not accept the default password."
before flash Stock firmware, grab encrypted password from nvram
nvram get http_password
this will be your first password after flash stock firmware.
Will do, cheers for that :)
Will be trying your Tomato build next once I am back to stock. :)
