Which router are you using

Which router are you using R6200v1 or R6200v2 ??
What is the wireless configuration for your router?? Are they same for stock and dd-wrt firmware??

Hi,

Hi,

I have a R6200v2 and about the wireless config:
I left the stock firmware like it was, changed only security features.
The dd-wrt firmware i used as standart, and then changed everything i thought it would make the singal better.
Testet with wifi analyzer and streaming of live tv to my tablet and with dd-wrt i had problems all the time. I think the singal was around 20-30 % less good.

With stock firmware as i said no problem at all...

i`d like to use dd-wrt, so can i help you with some logs ore something...

If the signal is not as good,

If the signal is not as good, then you probably did not configure the same channels, by default dd-wrt uses the same output power as netgear, but different channels have different regulation limits.

I am using following wireless

I am using following wireless configuration,

  • Wireless Network Mode: N-Only (5 GHz)
  • Channel Width: VHT (80-80 MHz)

Try this configuration and check if your problem solves.
