Hi,
Have had my R7000 in a month now, and are thinking of going to DD-WRT.
When I go to the download page, there are different versions of the firmware, and two source codes? Or?
Wich version is recommended of those two source codes of each, or is Kong a firmware, or a source code? Not obvious.
Could someone point me in the right direction here?
How do I see the revision and version of my router?
Are not using VPN and that stuff, but streams a lot, and have a bad signal in my house, so are thinking of to tweak the signal a little bit, thats why. So could I maybe get the standard firmvare or should I need to go for Kong if that is a firmware?
Also have a WNDR3700v4 that I would like to have as an AP, is there anything to think about when choosing between the versions of firmware and source code versions?
When I looked, it seems to be one version of the firmware only for that, or?
Regards
The newcomer to DD-WRT

Hi,
Sorry for late look at my thread, been away on a honeymoon.
You relate to the Kong version, right?
There are differences in the two, STD and OLD, it says older stable or latest wireless drivers, what is meant with this?
Is it based on what I use for devices in my home and their drivers, or something else?
