After now the OpenWrt is out for the R7500 I hope to see there as well the Shibby Tomato for this router. Is there any plans on it or better will be a Shibby Tomato for the R7500 ?
I love the Shibby builds, as they are working perfect with th LTE modems in Poland :-) Just use it since some days on my Asus RT-AC56U and I have now internet like cable :-)
Tomato is for Broadcom. The R7500 is atheros.
yeah I was thinking there will be no. There was just the download category created that's why I was surprised :-)

I have an X4 R7500 with standrad frmware.
But i have Problem to Display the tv stream. with my old wndr4500 ist this working, now i have chanded the wndr4500 with nighthawk x4.
config: swisscom modem "centro picolo" mode as Bridge, over kabel to the X4.
(same as wndr4500 Settings).
No tv will be dispalyed 4.5 sec. then allways dead, after i Change a program, tv Display 4.5sec then dead.
i not want to Change to open Firmware (garanty) but can everion help me what is wrong whit this x4 or my config?
Can anyone tell how shibby firmware works.
He says transmision. dropbear and ssh support. I could not see in the web console nor telnet to the router

download openWrt trunk, install all packages, "make V=99" .
Now,in openWrt\trunk\bin\ipq806x\ , can see below.

how to Generate a complete firmware image ? such as "OpenWRT-R7500-17-Nov-2014.img"
