I flashed my R6700 with the latest Kong build, works great except the VPN.
When I enable the VPN on my router my speeds drop from 55 Mbs to les than 5Mbs.
I'm using Epress VPN, I contacted Express, they gave me some DHCP addresses to put
in. But download speeds are still slow. If I disable the VPN on my router and user the VPN
on my computer download speed are very fast.
anyone know how to fix this?
VPN connections require high CPU utilization due to the encryption required.
I recommend running OpenVPN as a client on each machine that needs access to the VPN, rather than running OpenVPN on your router.
