R8000 WL2-Advanced Configuration Settings for Second 5Ghz Radio not working

Hello,

Has anyone else seen this problem?

When setting Advanced options for the second 5 Ghz radio (WL2) in the DD-WRT Kong Mod firmware, settings do not seem to get applied.

Nothing on the advanced tab seems to get applied after Apply settings and all options revert back to default.

Is there anyone else that can

Is there anyone else that can verify or test this scenario out on a Netgear R8000 Nighthawk X6 device.

All of the Advanced settings for WL2 are not working in GUI.  The default settings register and are there but changing anything reverts back to default after applying or saving them.

I have meticulously followed firmware installation guides.  It is present every installation.

Do you think there is a way

Do you think there is a way to get this info to the developers, and provide a fix?

There are a few nagging items such as mentioned above, but the overall package is incredibly powerful on the R8000.  The combination of R8000 and DD-WRT has enabled WiFi connectivity where it was almost unusable on the prior 802.11N dual band equipment.

1. There are some issues with VLAN's and the WAN Port.  (Using the R8000 as an Access Point and not Internet Gateway)  (Issues are not present if using one of the switch ports to trunk VLAN's) Yes I have disabled WAN Port and added it as a switch port in GUI Web Management)

2. There are the above mentioned Radio settings problems.

3. The MAC Address Clone Tab crashes the Web interface.

4. I have had several "freezing" issues and I suspect the router might be overheating.

5. The IPV6 implementation is incomplete and can cause issues.  (Resolved by turning IPV6 off)
