R8000 with ZTE 4G Dongle?

I'm new to open source firmware so hoping that someone with more know how them myself can help. I have a Netgear R8000 router, no ADSL is available where I live so my only internet is via 3G/4G internet. I have an unlocked Telstra branded ZTE MF 823 4G dongle, is it possible to run this directly from my R8000 router? If so how do I go about doing this? Thank you for any help.
