New to DD-WRT, asking for some advice.

Hey guys so I have the Netgear R7000 and I have been wanting to flash my router to DD-WRT. On this web sit there are 2 files from what I can tell.

DD-wrt Kong Mod R7000_06_30_2015Chk (1391)

DD-wrt K3_R7000_1-jul-2015.chk (2506)

 

Which one is better?? 

 

If you guys can recommend which one will work better with my isp speeds which are:

 

TWC 

300 down

20 up

You will start with the below mentioned firmware, which I have used for quite some times. It is the best as far as I am concern.

DD-WRT firmware for Netgear R7000 Based on revision 27261
