Which R8000 firmware is most stable as of Feb 2016?

I want to install the most stable firmware for the R8000.  I'm assuming this is the latest Kong Mod, but I'm not sure which is the latest.  Is it the Jan 2016 uploaded mod with the 2015 title?  (I'm guessing this was a typo.) Or is it the Oct 2015 mod?  What firmware would you recommend as the most stable?  Thank you.

You can download the most

I have been using DD-WRT firmware Based on revision 28514 for R8000 for some time now. I find it quite stable. You can try downloading the same from http://www.myopenrouter.com/download/dd-wrt-firmware-netgear-r8000-based....

Do let me know, if there is any trouble.

I have seen issues with the 5

I have seen issues with the 5 GHz wifi physical adapter not being available for configuration in revisions since July 2015 (#27261). Have you experienced this on the latest Kong releases?

That should be after July

That should be after July 2015. I have found #27261 to work correctly.

I have used Kong build dd-wrt

I have used Kong build dd-wrt for 6 months. It is not quite stable somehow, sometimes I lost connection for a few min. I just switched to Shibby build tomato, cannot tell if it is stable yet.

I have more than 20 devices connected, and 4 wired devices as well, and I have 2 4T/5T hard drives connected to router as NAS. So I guess router worked really hard.

Overall signal strengh is weaker with Tomato, I have to switch back as I cannot stream 1080p with FireTV Stick anymore, It was set to 5G channel.

Yes, I have seen this with

Yes, I have seen this with the current build (29620), where the 5GHz access points would just "disappear". (For the record, this is a brand new R8000 that I just flashed with DD-WRT.)  I went into the Administration tab, then Management, and at the very bottom there is a button to "Reboot Router". I clicked that, waited a couple minutes, and so far all is good - my two 5GHz networks have been solid since then, with good performance.

Hope that helps...

Do any of the recent firmware

Do any of the recent firmware versions allow for the 5ghz networks to be combined into one ?
