I had a similar kind of issue, switched back to Netgear firmware. But with netgear firmware, I barely even get internet. This sucks. I tried configuring the settings to up the ante, but netgear firmware has limited options and they suck too. Hopefully, netgear comes up with a new firmware, broader options to configure the settings. There is a lot of network congestion around my apt area. DD-WRT worked wonderfully but now, it keeps rebooting.
