R6400 w/ iVPN - VPN won't connect

I have dd-wrt installed on my netgear 6400 and i'm trying to set up a persistent VPN connection for all connected devices.
the vpn i use is iVPN and on their website they go over how to set up for dd-wrt: https://www.ivpn.net/setup/router-dd-wrt-manual.html

i followed it exactly and the vpn is not connecting upon rebooting my router.
what am i doing wrong?

here is the log for the VPN

I am using the same router

I am using the same router and the same VPN setup and it works fine for me.  Only issue is occasional DNS failures, which I'm looking into now, but generally works fine.  I'd go over the instructions again with a fine tooth comb - or maybe include screenshots of the setup (blanking out personal info, of course).

Well, sure enough - this

Well, sure enough - this stopped working last night.  Going to battle with this again tonight, but it's worth noting that this failure happened after I upgraded to the latest Kong version from September.  Previously had been using the July version.

I also use an R6400 with iVPN

I also use an R6400 with iVPN. My vpn is is working as of this post. So I dont think the issue is from a bug in the firmware.
