hi,
i just loaded Kong latest release (r21520m, 03/02/17) and while 5Ghz seems to be working fine, I have an issue with 2.4Ghz.
If I disable security for 2.4Ghz, I can associate and everything is good. If I turn it on, it never connects/associate. I actually get a prompt for a username and password in win10 (which is typical for WPA2 enterprise, but not for wpa2 personnal). I get a incorrect password message in my iphone (even though my pwd is fine, so could be linked there).
in any case, the security for 2.4Ghz is clearly not working as expected. I cleared my nvram/rebooted before setting anything. Without security 2.4Ghz is fine.
Anyone has seen this? I guess I may have to rollback a few versions..?
thanks
ok so i fixed my problem, i installed the previous kong release (31500) and its now working fine. odd. kong if you see this, i suspect there is something wrong with the 2.4ghz security in the latest release. cheers!
in my initial comment, I should have said "31520", not 21520.. my apology
I have the same issuse on my R8500.
I have the same issue on my R8000.
I had this same issue on all my 10 PC's until I did a winsock reset, cleared remembered wireless connections, and restarted. Then they saw it as personal without username and pass and connected fine.
