Need some help please with voxel's 1.0.2.43SF

First I would like to thank Voxel for developing the custom FW for the R7800, very happy to find this FW. I recently purchased the R7800 and spent 2 weeks in preparation for flashing it with your FW. Because I'm a complete noob in flashing routers, Ubuntu (linux), and so on, I'm having difficulty getting things up and running. I followed the Appendix A to make the tmp/shh directory, cd  to generate the dropbear key in the router also continued to output the public key. Next I completed step #6 but, something went wrong. Being a noob I thought I could simply doing the steps over hoping I could overwrite what I has already done-to no avail. Generated keys several times. I've tried to remove the created directories or the contents hoping to start over, but I've no clue how this can be done. My question is:

What would be the a relatively easy method to undo what I've done in the router relating to setting up the ssh?

Is there a method that doesn't require me to reflash the FW

Should I save the current settings on the router?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Well, you don't actually need

Well, you don't actually need SSH, you can just flash Voxel's FW and use it instead of the official FW. The point of Voxel's FW is that you can use an OpenVPN client and Entware packages to customize the router beyond with is possible with official Netgear FW.

If you just need temporary access, you can use Telnet to login to the router. Just go to ROUTERIP/debug.htm and enable Telnet (remember to disable it afterwards) to login. If you need permanent SSH access, login via Telnet, edit /root/.ssh/authorized_keys and copy your computer's SSH public key into the file. Or use the way described in Voxel's Readme with a USB thumb drive.

Best,
Martin
