R8000- Router IP address and Default G/W IP address are in different networks after reset to stcok

R8000- Router IP address and Default G/W IP address are in different networks after reset to stcok

I reset from DD-WRT Kong v3 -33...something to Kong intial - then to Netgear Original.  Router IP (lan) 192.168.0.1 --- default G/W IP 172.16.0.1.

No matter what I have tried as far as changing my PC address, etc. hasn't worked.  Destination unreachable pings to both IP's.  

www.routerlogin.net goes to Netgear troubleshootiing page.  I don't know any other troubleshooting steps to take at this point..

Any advice would be appreciated.

Also:  Have done the hard

Also:  Have done the hard reset (30-30-30) and longer, numerous times
