After upgrade to V1.0.9.88_10.2.88 my favourite android phone a wiley fox storm (android 7.1.2) connects to my router, but is not allowed internet. I've tried several tricks eg rebooting phone and router, removing from allowed and reallowing, using static addresses etc etc, but nothing seems to work. I tried the guest network, but it's the same there. The phone mac is not in the blocked list.
Another android phone I have is unaffected and the affected phone connects to the wifi at work with no problem.
Any ideas as to why this might be?
I switched my old phone off for a few days and upon re-use I was able to connect usefully for a period. However, after some time the block came back on although nothing changed on the phone or the router connected devices page (which still showed the device as allowed). I have downgraded the router firmware.to V1.0.9.64_10.2.64 and it seems to connect. I'll report if it continues to work for a few days.
OK after 24 hours the previous firmware shows no sign of causing the android connected no internet problem with my old phone. I have to suppose that this is a bug in the latest firmware version V1.0.9.88_10.2.88
Or perhaps something new like the armor app (which I have not ever used).
