Channel and extension combination problem

I have the latest firmware (DD-WRT v3.0-r39960M kongac) from Kong and for some reason the association between 5Ghz channels and channel extensions is kind of a mess. Or am I missing something?

In the official dd-wrt wiki I find that valid VHT80 channels are "36+UU, 40+UL, 44+LU, 48+LL, 52+UU...." and so on. However every single combination allowed in my router is a wrong one. For example with UU, I can only select 48, 64, etc. I am unable to connect any client at more than 173mbps at 5ghz and I'm sure this is the reason... At 2,4ghz I manage 300mbps easily as long as I choose the right combinations there.

Is this a known bug?

Thanks in advance.

Update: ok, for some reason

Update: ok, for some reason if I select things manually and leave nothing in auto, I am able to connect properly with good speeds with some combinations. Still, it's strange that the available combinations are the exact opposite of the combinations recommended here (https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Basic_Wireless_Settings) and here (https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Wireless-N_Configuration).

Update 2:

Update 2:

I think I found the problem:

At 2,4Ghz HT40, if I select for example channel 5 and an "upper" extension channel, I get connected to "5+7".

At 5Ghz HT40, if I select for example channel 157 and an "upper" extension, I get connected to "157+159".

BUT... at 5Ghz VHT80, if I select for example channel 161 and an "upper upper" extension, I get connected to "161+155".

It seems the labels "upper upper" and "lower lower", "upper lower" and "lower upper" at VHT80 are exchanged! Possibly at VHT160 too (did't check).
