I have deployed my old WNR3500Lv2 at my brother's house, as a router only no WAP, running a Shibby AIO build.
Currently he has extremely fast internet, rated at 110 mbps. However I have seen it go as fast as 190+ mpbs in bursts. Therefore I have enabled fast nat in the routers init script, which allows the router to run over 80-90 mbps no problem.
However I am afraid that he is going to turn on QoS or Access restrictions, which will disable fast nat.
I told him (like 4 times) not to touch these settings, but I have a feeling that eventually he will mess with them due to "forgetting" about what I told him.
Is there anyway to just disable and/or remove QoS and Access restriction from the left hand menus? If I don't give him the password I'm sure he'll just reset the router so that's not an option.
Any info would be appreciated.

I solved the issue.
I downloaded a theme that I liked and edited the CSS. For each menu entry I set the CSS to display:none; height: 0px;
This removed the entries from the left-hand menu and collapsed the menus so there is no blank space where it used to be.
Obviously if he changes the theme they will reapeear, however I may just do the same thing to hide the drop down box from the UI so he can't change it.
