I'm posting these in the downloads area on the site. I just installed this version and it went smoothly, and seems to be working just fine. Thanks for the tip!!
thank you for your reaction ;)
which version have you installed? big? std? vpn?
i will install the big, perhaps...
the router will come on thursday :)
Where did u order?
I've ordered by conrad.de ;)
The date for shipping is 25th of November...
*HAPPY*
But my WRT54GL is nice- too
@Hotzenplotz - I installed the std version. It is still working great.
Can you tell me the exact differences between big and std?
No, sorry.

New build ;)
This new build has been uploaded to the site:
http://www.myopenrouter.com/download/15329/DD-WRT-for-NETGEAR-WNR3500L-M...
I didn't see it in BIN format, though. I can't seem to be able to use a CHK file to update my router, it must be a BIN, since I am already running DD-WRT. Any ideas?

pls
You r rite Peter , the DD-WRT build needs a bin f/w for upgrading .... I had provided a patch to fix it for DD-WRT builds for WGR614L ... I will create a new patch for recent DD-WRT builds so that chk upload can be used with DD-WRT/WNR3500L also .....
BTW if one wants to upgrade the chk build he/she can do this by first flashing his/her router with default netgear f/w and then use its GUI to flash the chk build .... :) ..
you can get them from :
http://www.myopenrouter.com/forum/thread/15987/WNR3500L-Netgear-Firmware...
Can you help me?
You will probably have to use a serial console setup to go back to factory firmware.
http://www.myopenrouter.com/article/13859/How-To-Debrick-Your-NETGEAR-WN...
Can I do this without an usb cable?
also with an lan cable.
then the router isn't bricked at the moment.
You need the cables shown in the article.
I know it's not bricked but doing what is shown is the only way I know of to revert back from a Bin to a Chk file.
If anyone else knows a way fill us in. :)
