Reportedly, Broadcom just released open source Linux drivers for (some of?) their chips: http://www.osnews.com/story/23786/BREAKING_BROADCOM_OPEN_SOURCES_WIRELES...
What I'm interested in, does the release include support for the chipset on the WNR3500L, sufficient for proper access point usage, or does it at least bring such a goal closer?
I've been holding out on an AP upgrade, waiting for a solution with a free Linux driver, and the 3500L with its gigabit switch and USB expandability would certainly go on my shopping and recommendation list if this pans out well.
Thanks for any information!
Thanks; probably worth following, though, especially if it's considered a TODO.
