First expirience, upgrade fail, brick?

I very frustrated now. Today I have bricked up my new wnr3500l-100nas. It's my
first attempt of upgrading firmware from original to dd-wrt and it's
failed. I have chosen initial firmware from the download section
"DD-WRT" of this official site, after extracting it i have putted
"dd-wrt.v24-13309_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-WNR3500L.chk" in a GUI. After screen
telling me that firmware parameters updating, at the end lan connection
lost. No response upon DHCP protocol. Only the orange LED is switching
on. Manually configured lan did not bring me success. No responses from
"192.168.1.1" or "0.1" nor by http and icmp. Till today my router
rightly served me on the original up-to-date NA firmware. Seems it was a
fault to try to discover my "open" router's possibilities. So i have to
debrick it or i missed something "postupgrading". Am i right? Where is
my errors? Why it happened?

Did you flash using a

Did you flash using a wireless connected client?
Since the chk from this site you used has been tested by a high number of users it is definitely safe to flash it.

It is hard to say what happened, short powerloss, network error, bad network cabling etc. could have many reasons.

To debrick it just read the advice I gave here:

http://www.myopenrouter.com/forum/thread/24951/Brick...-There-is-only-th...

The most common error is that users don't wait long enough for the flashing to complete, even after the image was transfered via web interface and the gui says it updated the router you still have to wait a few minutes until the router reboots and flashes the transfered image.

Thanks for replying. I

Thanks for replying. I flashed through ethernet lan port with original cable.
I experience some system issues with pc's memory now. BSOD's sometimes happens.
May be this's the reason. I'm waiting my USB-UART-TTL-converter, purchased on EBAY . And i have a notebook without memory issues upon Linux. I'm gonna debrick and reflash my router on it soon.
