I very happily used Shibby's Tomato for a long time on my WNR3500Lv2. To me, it is much more usable than DD-WRT. Now I have an R7000, and want to do more with the router (particularly attach it to an FTDI usb/serial device).
When I run "lsusb", I can see both the USB 2 and USB 3 root hubs. If I plug a flash drive into the USB 3 port in the front, it shows up under lsusb and can be mounted. If I plug a flash drive into the rear USB 2 port, it does not even show up under lsusb (and there are no log messages to indicate a problem). If I plug my usb/serial device into either port, it fails to show up under lsusb (and again produces no log messages).
I would be very grateful for any suggestions. I have currently switched to DD-WRT because I can get the usb/serial device working there, but I would much rather use Tomato.
Thanks!
