installing shibby/Tomato AIO on WNR3500L v1

Noob question; I downloaded the following Tomato from shibby's site (tomato-K26USB-1.28.RT-MIPSR2-102-AIO.bin) as it appeared that it would work with my WNR3500L (8mb/64mb).  Trouble is it is 9.3mb, so it won't fit in the flash memory.  Is there a workaround for this?

It's not that I need every added feature in the AIO, but thought I could learn something by experimenting with the full suite of features.

Thanks for the help.
