More Current r6400 Build?

Team,

 

I still have an r6400 and am wondering if a newer build of DD-WRT can be put on the "to do" list.  Is it a "technical challenge" to get DD-WRT to work on this router, or just a lack of time thing that the newest build is nearly a year old?

(I'm not complianing, I'm honestly just asking)
