I have a Netgear DGND3700V2 It looks very similar to some of the others W units on here,
Is someone able to tell me if the WNDR units are the same as the DGND units or is there a Firmware available for the DGND3700V2 Router.

WNDR are Routers ONLY no ADSL/VDSL component.
There is only ONE ADSL Modem/Router with open firmware and that is Netgears D7800 Nighthawk 4s.
This is because no ADSL/VDSL chipset companys will release opensource drivers.
IE Broadcom/Qualcom/Atheros/RA-Link etc.
Even with a closed binary (BLOB) you still need an API to use Subroutine addressess and call, return parameters .
Or LLOOTTSS of time to reverse engineer the chipset. Which would be unuseable due to copyright. etc
Sorry if this is way to much information to answer your querie.
Please note I replied to the above question even though the original post was from 2013. Because someone else may have the same adsl modem router and may try to install a router only firmware.
