Netgear WNDR3700v3 and a printer

I just purchased a WNDR3700v3 router for my home. There is a USB port on the back for an external hard drive. I know the WNDR3800 can also do the ReadyShare Printer using the Netgear software. Can I do the same thing on my new router?

I have never flashed a router with other stuff and am a little nervous about that.

Suggestions?

 

Returing the device....going with WNDR3800.

ReadyShare printing feature is not available in ddwrt firmware.
