netgear wnr2000v2 - wireless connection cannot access shared drives

i recently replaced my wireless router to a netgear wnr2000v2, i had a linksys before and i was able to share and access files between all my pc's connected to my network, wireless and wired

now with the netgear router i have the same PC's connected wired and wirelessly and i share drives/folder/files on each of them.

my wnr2000v2 wireless settings are as follows

channel - auto

mode - up to 54mbps

wpa-psk [tkip] + wpa2-psk [aes]

i have two laptops connected wirelessly running windows 7 with service pack 1 and i cannot access any shared drives on my other pc's which is connected hard wired

but if i connect either laptop hard wired i can then access the shared drives/files

im sure im missing a setting here... any feedback is greatly appreciated

cannot access the router or

cannot access the router or ping it through wireless connection but if im connected wired whether its directly to the router or another router connected to the network yes i can ping and connnect through th GUI. i have another laptop running windows xp which has the same problem which eliminates the OS issue.

thanks
