No firmware update menu item even after 30-30-30 reset

Hi.

I have a C6250EMR, that I would like to update the firmware on with DDWRT or Tomato, to configure it as a simple AP.

However, there seems to be missing the menu item to update the Firmware, even though I have done different reset procedures, including a 30-30-30 reset.

The router is one I have left from an ISP-switch, so I guess they in some way have crippled the firmware on the device, which is version 2.01.05.

I have also installed the Netgear Genie software on a PC, but that won't allow me to log on, i.e. I can only see the options that are available without logon.

Anything I can do to get another firmware on the device?
