I have an old WNR2000 router and decided to take the plunge and purchased an R6400 on which I have installed the latest Kong Mod DD-WRT(build 30020M) and my PC will not connect to the Internet. If I connect the WAN to my old router, take a LAN outlet from there to the WAN on the R6400 I can connect to the Internet and everything works fine. Have I done something wrong in the setup?

Maybe your ISP uses the MAC address of your old router. If possible in DD-WRT, try to give the R6400 the same MAC address of the old router
Thank you, unfortunately that made no difference, still doesn't work as it should!!
Not able to resolve this issue so will be reverting back to the original firmware which worked perfectly.
