one router piggyback on another router?

I have a Roadrunner cable internet connection. My computer has XP. I have a phone router from T-Mobile hooked up. We are getting another desktop that has Vista Business, and want to hook both computers to the internet. There is a cat 5 outlet where new computer is going.

The people at T-Mobile told me this can be done. Are they correct? If so, can anyone reccomend a router?

You can use Netgear's WGR614L

You can use Netgear's WGR614L for your purpose .. Connect ur PCs to router's LAN side through wired or wireless connection and WAN side of router to internet ...
Though this can be done with other router's too but WGR614L is an opensource router .... You can use different firmware builds available at this site to get different features and better performance from your router ...

Yes norse u can do both of this .... just make sure that the computers which you are connecting through ethernet port , your WGR614L and the Laptop that you will connect through wireless are all in the same subnet ...
