OpenWrt 15.05 rc1 ipq806x

I noticed that recently released OpenWrt Chaos calmer 15.05-rc1 has support for ipq806x. Someone knows if the generic image boots on ours R7500 ?. Maybe without WLAN support ?

Maybe we can expect some version released here based on that source ?

well there needs to be for

well there needs to be for sure a new build, as its using a different kernel:

 

Installing kmod-usb-net-huawei-cdc-ncm (3.18.11-1) to root...

The OpenWrt Build is just on version 3.4.0 which is old.....not sure if there will be one day where there will be packages availible or the Build of R7500 to mach OpenWrt. But as it looks it will take a long time more......

I mean if it will boot I dont know but I believe not. I will not try this on my R7500 :-)
