I would like to enable VPN funtioanlaity and so I have decided to flash with Adanced Tomato v 140. I understand that everyone needs to first appply the Initial .chk and then select from AIO or VPN trx upgrade files.
AIO implies 'all in one' but it does not contain the ability to enable VPN?
The VPN trx is almost twice the file size as the AIO trx file. Does VPN trx contain all AIO functionality? I need to use this router as my main router and WiFi AP.

You've got it reversed and may want to double-check -- AIO is 2x the size of VPN, not vice versa:
