R8000 - Initial Payload

Hello

I have loaded the R8000 Initial file.

It went through the process ok - I got the message advising me to wait 2 minutes (guessing the router rebooted etc)

I cannot now access any admin page at all. My router is now much of a paper weight.

I have reviewed all the steps and I can very sure all the details have been followed.

Any ideas please?

Cheers

Dan

Hi Dan,

Hi Dan,

Same thing happened to me but I haven't been able to figure out how to resolve it? Do you mind describing what you did?

Thanks,

Matt

Hey Matt - I just reset it 3 times at the back of the modem

I am however movoing back to the netgear software - wireless issues and lag on the modem since moving is a joke.

Hey dan78h, glad to hear you

Hey dan78h, glad to hear you resolved the original issue.

Was this shibby's Tomato build you tried? What kind of wireless issues did you have? shibby is active here and I can pass your feedback along.

I had tested Kong's DD-WRT build in the past and it worked great, so you may want to also give that a try. I'm concerned about the issues you had though since I've always had great experiences with shibby's builds with several different NETGEAR routers.
