Serial to USB on a chip

So, like so many others before me, I am in need of the 3.3V Serial connection.  I haven't seen this particular way to accomplish it anywhere around here, so I felt obligated to post it!  It's slightly less expensive than the full cable and it even has blinky lights (if you care about such things).  I've just purchased it and I'll post pictures (if I get it to turn out well :P)

 Price: ~$14 USD with ~$4.50 S&H

 Wish me luck!

I don't see why it wouldn't

I don't see why it wouldn't work. It's funny cause I mentioned it in this article that was posted today. http://www.myopenrouter.com/article/15816/Why-Do-You-Need-A-Special-Seri... and for me personally it wasn't worth the $5.00 savings.

But once you get it and have it working I would love to see how you did it. Maybe you could submit an article yourself on just that.
