Hello! I recently purchased a Netgear WNR3500L and have successfully updated the firmware to 1.27 and all is well. (I've been on an old WRT54GS for many years now and needed the extra horsepower for my higher bandwidth speeds...)
However - it looks like my old SNMP binary from this thread:
http://www.linksysinfo.org/forums/showthread.php?t=51064
No longer works with this newer router. I only fround 3 references on these forums that talk about Tomato and SNMP and were not specific to this issue.
Has anybody else had success with SNMP?
Thanks,
_DS
Just for the record, DD-WRT has SNMP included in firmware.
Well - I finally had a few minutes to revisit this effort and sure enough - it works now. I ran the same command I had before:
/cifs1/snmp/snmpd -c /cifs1/snmp/snmpd.conf
And it's now cooking with gas. Guess there wasn't an issue... (I have upgraded the firmware once since then to Tomato Firmware v1.27.9046 MIPSR2-beta14 K26 USB Ext - but I didn't specifically test against this change...)
Thanks!

Just for record, Openwrt also supports snmp. It is not in build. You can do that by opkg update.
