tomato as router and dap2553 as access point

Guys

Finally I have tomato running on my rt-n16 but, since the router is not dual band and I have a mix of G and N devices y want to use my dlink dap2553 as an access point but when I connect it to the asus it does not show on he list of devices and I can't ping or use any wireless device, I know a similar setup with my old dlink dgl4100 works ok but when I change the 4100 with the rt-n16 wireless stops working, anybody with a similar situation or any advice on how I can fix this problem???.

PD wired connections are ok and tomato is awesome it is just the wireless.
